Angel Parents Advocate for Trump's Nobel Peace Prize Nomination

A group of "Angel Parents"—families who have lost loved ones to crimes committed by individuals in the U.S. illegally—are urging the Nobel Peace Prize committee to consider former President Donald Trump for the prestigious award. Their nomination highlights his efforts to combat drug cartels, human trafficking, and illegal immigration during his administration.

In a letter dated October 9, 2025, addressed to the Norwegian Nobel Committee, these parents argue that Trump's actions align with the Nobel Peace Prize's mission to promote fraternity among nations, reduce the engines of war, and foster peace. They contend that the "greatest war" many Americans face is not in distant lands but in their own communities, waged by cartels profiting from human misery.

One of the signatories, Katie Abraham, whose daughter was killed in a crash allegedly caused by an illegal immigrant, praised Trump's stance on border security. She stated, "He stood up to the cartels, secured the border and fought to protect families like mine. That’s not just leadership, that’s bringing peace to American communities."

This call for Trump's nomination coincides with other international recognitions of his diplomatic efforts, including his role in facilitating peace agreements in the Middle East
